Plain-language terms, before the legal ones.
How engagements with Apptology FZE work — the spirit of the contract you'll actually sign.
Engagements
- Every project starts with a written, signed scope — the one-page brief is the contract's spine.
- Fixed-scope work is fixed-price; changes are re-scoped in writing within a day, never absorbed silently and never invoiced as a surprise.
- Either side can end an engagement with 30 days' written notice; you pay for work delivered, and you keep everything built to date.
Ownership
- Code, designs, and documentation are assigned to you on payment — your repos and accounts from day one make this mechanical, not contractual theatre.
- We retain the right to reuse generic, non-confidential know-how and open-source components; your business logic and data are yours alone.
Mutual commitments
- We commit to named senior staffing, weekly demos, and the security stance published on this site.
- You commit to timely feedback windows and a named decision-maker — calendars are how fixed scope stays fixed.
- Liability is capped at fees paid, and neither side poaches the other's team for 12 months. Standard, stated plainly.
Note: Plain-language summary — the executed Master Services Agreement governs each engagement.
